FACE SHAPE

There are 7 types of faces basically.
- Oval
- Round
- Square
- Triangle
- Heart
- Rectangular/oblong
- diamond
There s a scientific way to find out your face shape.
All you need is a measure tape,a piece of paper and a pencil.
1.Now take the measure tape and measure your face across the top of ur cheekbones. Note it down.
2.Now measure across your jawline.Make a note.
3.Now place the tape half way between ur eye brow andhairline-your widest point and measure across your Forehead.
4.Now place the tape on the tip of ur hairline and measure to the bottom of ur chin.Note it down as well.
OVAL FACE
Length equals one and a half times of ur width.
RECTANGULAR/OBLONG FACE
The length s usually greater than its width
ROUND FACE
Your face is almost as wide as its long. It might vary sometimes tho.
SQUARE FACE
Same as a round face, width equals length but has a square jawline and hairline.
HEART FACE
Wide at the cheeks and forehead, temple. narrows to a small,delicate chin.
DIAMOND FACE
As you can clearly guess, its wide at the cheek bones.Narrowest at forehead and jawline..
TRIANGLE FACE
Widest at the forehead. Narrow at cheekbones and jaws.

Do not brush, flat-iron your hair when its wet.
Do not iron ur hair without a protecting serum
do use conditioner after shampoo
use wide toothed comb after washing!!!

Hair Styles for oval shaped faces

People with oval face r the lucky ones cuz almost any hair style and make up would complement you.

U can see Halle Berry here sporting curly hair and looking quite stunning.
So like i said earlier any sort of hair style and make up would look good on you.
U can either sport a short style, long or medium and curly,wavy or straight.
U may wonder if oval,oblong and diamond are all similar.
well there s not much difference when it comes to hair styles.However there might be slight changes in make-up.
Some common and widely popular hair styles are laser cut hair, step cut with bangs, or side swept hair.

HOW TO GET THIS LOOK---
Wash your hair and condition it thoroughly.
You would need a blow dryer and A large Round brush for the styling.
Side part your hair according to your likes.
Make small sections of your hair and blow dry each section with round brush.
u may also use large rollers to create the wave.
Apply shining serum and shake your head slightly to give that wind blown look.
voila! ur very own Jessica Alba style is done.

Bangs are in this season. They are super hot and sexy. U just got lucky because oval shaped girls can sport any type of bang like long bangs,short bangs, side swept bangs, heavy bangs etc,.

I almost forgot to tell u that oval and oblong are almost similar face types.
Except that in oblong, u might ve a slightly larger forehead. To balance it, u may opt for side sweeps and bangs to cover ur forehead.
MEDIUM LENGTH
When it comes to medium length i.e shoulder length, try working on a layer. Layering adds texture and volume to hair.Don't over do it though.Keep it clean,simple and neat. You may also try highlighting or low lighting the different layers.
Another basic style is our very own Pony Tail. Its chic and ultra cool on all lengths of hair. So on a bad hair day, just grab a scrunchie or a cute hair band and pin ur hair up for a super sexy pony-tail.
SHORT HAIR
Short hair is absolutely fabulous on girls with oval face.Good news is you can sport any type of short hair ranging from super short to chin length and yet manage to look gorgeous.

Like i said earlier, girls with oval face can get away with any sort of hair style, even a "architectural cut" like this(left).
Rihanna sports a very asymmetrical hair line these days. it is one of the so called 'architectural' cuts.With that oval face type s done.

Well your face is as wide as its long. Our main focus here is to reduce the round-ness as much as possible.Another Advantage (or not) is that you can grow long hair unlike oval/oblong shaped girls. The longer the hair, the better you'd look.
Anyways girls with short hair don't worry. I ve some techniques and hair styles for you as well.

SHORT HAIR
Short hair is really tricky on girls with round face. Mainly because hair falling to ur cheeks add width.
Bobs and any blunt cut at the chin is a complete no-no.However for those who simply adore a bob can follow Michelle williams style featured here.

As I mentioned earlier, its always good to grow ur hair for girls with round face. Mostly because the length and the flow of hair tends to avert the roundness of ur face.
